 Which is better - supplements or medicine?

Medicines treat illness or pacify symptoms; now we are seeing supplements on the rise in a growing industry for the same purpose. When we combine too many directions for the body to go in, it gets confused, creating more symptoms and ailments or worsening existing ones. This can create confusion for the body adding to the vicious cycle of adding more medicines and/or supplements to your list to cover new or stronger ailments. 

In order to create healing, we must lessen the intake of both and start connecting to our Body Within. Listening to our bodies’ guidance and keeping a few simple guidelines to follow will not only allow us to facilitate healing but maintain our healing journey and provide balance in our lives.

How does a medical intuitive help?

In my work as a Healing Arts Practitioner, I am connecting with people’s energetic bodies each day. When the body is struggling to create change to heal, I become a detective for my client. As I connect with their Body Within I read the story their energy has to tell, what might be the true cause of the stiff neck and shoulder or the chronic cold symptoms, the inability to digest well, etc.

In doing this for many years, I am finding that the more supplements and medicines we take, the more confused our bodies are becoming. The body becomes unaware of what its proper functions are, adding to our inability to create and maintain healing. 

My goal for clients is to become aware of their bodies’ weakness and work to help them to correct it using self-awareness healing like connecting to their Body Within, rest, food, exercise, specific for their needs, then adding the medicine and/or supplement to their body.
