Energy Healing as the Seasons Change

Everything is energy, including the change of seasons.

When learning to create balance in your life in the pursuit of whole health, the change of seasons can sometimes throw you off-course. It’s the same thing as when your friend knows that a storm is coming because an old injury flares up or they experience a migraine when the barometric pressure changes.


There are a lot of other things that can throw your energy off-balance, as well. I’ve spoken at-length about these things, such as nutrition, sedentary lifestyle, lack of sleep, and lack of mindfulness. 


In this article, however, I want to talk a bit about energy healing and the change of seasons.

I find that many people are affected in a large way this time of year, but they’re not always aware of it until I bring it to their attention. 


Some people experience depression as the days become darker. 


Others get really anxious about “not having enough.” When I ask them, “enough what?” they can’t really identify the answer. They just know they’re experiencing anxiety.


Some want to hunker down and get a lot of things done before winter arrives, just like nature.


A lot of people don’t notice any changes at all, but everyone else around them is being affected by their behavior. It can affect their jobs, their relationships and surroundings. Even still, they remain unaware of any change inside themselves.


My goal is to make you aware that these changes exist, so you can begin to pay attention.


It’s time to become an observer of yourself and others around you. It’s actually a fun experiment! It’s like watching the news. They say one thing, but there is something completely different happening. Unless you’re aware of that, you buy into what is being said or done. 


Energy healing and healing, in general, are about being in the present moment and experiencing what is, not what we believe to be happening.


The goal of learning how the seasons can affect your behavior and choices is to help you create balance for yourself and the world around you. Also, if you become aware, you become more compassionate towards others, and that, in itself, creates balance in any situation.


Chaos Breeds Chaos. Balance Breeds Peace.


Healing comes in many packages, and the energy that comes with the change of seasons is an important one.


If you are someone who is affected, sit quietly, and ask to see what you need to see. Learn if you can make some simple lifestyle changes to bring you back to balance.


Your friends and family will thank you. Your Body Within will thank you, as well.
